Vegetable garden

Who knew that without grass and a tiny plot of land you could do so much? Lilia and I planted tomatoes (which are starting to flower) and lettuce. In just 3 weeks our lettuce was big enough to cut down, wash & eat.
Yesterday Dave's grandmom's cousin was in town. His name is KP and he's a retired pastor in Ohio. He stopped by for lunch and we also went on a tour of Philly where Dave's grandmom used to live and teach Sunday school for lots of years.
So for lunch we enjoyed chicken ceasar salad. We grilled the chicken after marinating it in ceasar dressing. Then we used the lettuce from our garden. KP loved it. We all loved it. It was so delish! How fun and unbelievably easy to grow your own lettuce!
