We leave in just under 5 weeks. I can't believe it. We are in the process of figuring out what we're bringing home and what we'll sell/give away. I already packed up 2 of our 6 suitcases. It's mostly winter stuff and books.
It's so weird that only 7 months ago I was at Ikea spending money on things like plates, glasses and sheets and now we are getting ready to sell all of those things. We'll have a house sale at the end of the month to people we know like other expats here. People have already put dibs on things!
It will be fun to go back to the States and look through our own stuff! Everything will seem like new again.
We'll live with my parents in Dublin, PA for a while until we can get set up and buy a place of our own in Philly. We plan to be with them until at least the baby is born, mid-October. I am not up for seeing 3 different doctors throughout 1 pregnancy!
Living in rural Dublin will be an odd change from the hustle and bustle of our major city. Instead of cars honking, we'll hear cows mooing.
