One of the joys for the foreign community here is to rejoice when another Western comfort comes to our city. When I (Dave) was here is '02, I was able to see the first Broadway play in East Asia (Les Mis). In '05 we were able to be here for the first day of Burger King. Last night we joined the opening night festivities of the first 7-eleven in our city. But alas, unlike Singapore and Thailand, I was disappointed to find out that there are no slurpees.

Grand Opening
