Time with Family in Colorado

Blake loves her cousins "Ee-ya" and "Axis." Blake would request for Alex to push her on the swing, and she loved doing what the big kids were doing.
Lilia is reading a Thomas the Tank Engine book to Blake. Right now (about 18 mo) Thomas is her favorite.
Grammy found some Legos at a yard sale. The engineers had fun building.

If you asked Lilia, she would say that "Lily is her best friend." She and Alex made special tags for themselves as dog trainers and a special tag for Lily as student. Even though this old dog is pretty set in her ways, the kids are determined to train her every time they see her.

They loved helping Grandpop give Lily a bath.

Most days while Dave and I were at the conference, the kids had a routine. They would walk Lily over to the sandy playground and build a "house" for Luke and Leia. Julie and Blake joined all of after we came back from the conference. Blake spent most of the time swinging. It's funny how much her and Alex and similar. They are born a day apart, both have blond hair and blue eyes, they love swings, desire to be fiercely independent, and both had eczema and dog allergies. There are probably a few more that I don't know yet. Crazy right!?!?!

The kids got to attend vacation Bible school at Al and Marilyn's church. They loved it! Lilia made friends in no time and Alex was scared at first. It didn't take him long to warm up though!
