Easter is by far my favorite holiday for so many reasons. We celebrate it in spring, a time of hope and warmth. I love reliving the traditions of egg hunts and morning easter baskets. Spiritually, it's so rich! Christ rose from the dead. That fact alone is what separates Christianity from all other world religions. (That and the fact that we don't earn salvation; it is given to us freely through grace.) It's such a celebration!!! Oh, and hands down - best holiday candy! Give me jelly beans (the real kind made with fruit pectin).

It was a fun surprise when Patti and Tony came rolling up in his 1970 Corvette Stingray. It was so nice that they joined us for Easter.

Tony took Alex for a ride in his stingray. It's a two seater and a former race car. Alex was talking about it for days!

We had stayed over night and went to my parents church Sunday morning. My parents neighbors came too. They have kids the same ages as my kids. They have so much fun playing when we come up to visit.
Our friend Cat slept over and spent Easter with us. Back in China her dad has a motorcycle. She was so excited when my dad offered to take her for a ride and my dad is always happy to have a reason to go for a spin!
