At 26 months I took Lilia to get her first hair cut out the back gate of our complex. I asked my friend Lisa and her son Will to come for moral support and for translation. Will loves to get his hair cut!
So we went and Lilia sat down in the big yellow chair. She sat still during the entire hair cut. Sadly, I asked for a trim, which here means...cut it short! Most of the children in the spring get their hair cut short or even buzzed.
The odd thing is that at home when I put a comb to her hair she freaks out ans says, "Ow ow ow!" She won't let me do it. I didn't think this would go over well but it did.
